Education & Research

Our mission for Mulloon Creek Natural Farms is much wider than making the farm itself increasingly economically and environmentally sustainable. It is to provide a model or a template that can be reproduced by others in Australia and overseas. We firmly believe that farmers should be able to feed themselves and that every town should potentially be self-sustaining with fresh food provided by the farmers in that district.

To help achieve this we are establishing a series of courses that will allow farmers from all across the country to learn more about self-sustaining farming. As mentioned earlier we are already running courses in the theory and practice of biodynamic farming held in liaison with the Biodynamic Education Centre. We also have an education and research program run in conjunction with the Australian National University. Our relationship with the ANU began over 18 years ago and has so far produced 7 Honors, Masters and Doctoral theses. There are another 6 in process and many more to come.

If you’d like to enquire about our education and research programs simply e-mail us. Feel free to make any suggestions we are always looking for innovative concepts that will assist farmers achieve their dreams.
